Thrud

Post by harley_topper »

I need some advice

If a team freeboots Thrud in a match against a team with 16 players, can Thrud change the side (if he is confused)?
Or is this impossible because the opponent has already 16 players on his roster?

I'd say he can change sides still - as he's still on the original team's roster. Otherwise this is a very beardy exploit.

Or you could say that when he get's confused, he misses the drive(s) until he gets re-confused. Confused?!

But I'd probably go with Ian's response

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

How reported in the annual 2003 at page 63 "The opposing coach may use Thrud even if this takes his roster above the usual 16 player allowed!"

I think that clarify the question!!!

Bye

Good call, Doc.

The beardiest abuse of Thrud I've yet seen was done by a team who was 100 points under their opponent. They picked "In the Bag" and freebooted Thrudd. As long as they didn't score too early, the opposing team couldn't field him even if he switched sides...

Why? Thrud has 0 SPPs so he could always be fielded.

Although one could say that he has at least 51 because he is a "star player" (but that is weak! :D)

I think freebooters would play regardless!

I thought all star players were legends? That's rather a strange exception, though I guess it makes sense.
