New Dodge Rule

Instead of making 1 dodge role for each square in the opponents tackle zone, just role once. This will break the increasing strangle hold running teams seem to have developed on Leagues and even things up.

Sorry I don't see that passing/flair teams are doing that badly under the current rules and I hate to have only 1 chance to stop a stunty running through my lines.

With tackle that wouldn't happen often...cue the stats men. Once a running team gets in a huddle it takes a bit of luck to stop it.
It was just a suggestion, I am more than happy with dodge as it stands, just wondered what you guys think would be the impact on the game. My take on it is that it would swing things round in the agiles favour.

thats why i think the top 4 teams in fumbbl are wood elves huh :/

you can normally blitz a hole somewhere or use leap to get over people

my gutter runners have never had a problem getting through to the other side of the defence and i don't even have a rat ogre to bash a whole

I made a daft suggestion with blitz a little while ago which was along similar lines.

I just don't think that it would work for dodge and there is already a good balance between the beardies and the fast teams.

It was an idea though....

Making daft suggestions is a hobby of mine. I was just thinking from another thread about how to improve DE performances against running teams. So being typical I came up with a suggestion that unbalances things to favour my DE's. Then I re read the thread and realised that the DE runner idea with surefeet is probably all that is needed.

I know I'm playing around now that I have found how to do it!! Trouble is the one I wanted I ruined and then coudn't copy it again from the site I got it from. So the bro is going to help me with it when he gets down on the 12th. Quite like the one I'm using now though.

I've just assigned a symbol myself, but it's hard to find anything that fits the pixel size, and i'm not very good at understanding how to re-size jpegs!!!!

On the programme I used I copied a picture in to My Pictures. I then went to file-open and then chose edit. In there you have an option to re-size, which I had to play about with until it fitted the right pixells. I had to save the picture each time I changed it and to check whether I had got it to the right size I looked in properties. I hope this is of use. I am sure there is an easier way but I am not a techi.
