Master Chef

Post by Bifi »

Is he (the LRB or the experimental version) able to steal trophy re-rolls? (I suppose he isn't able to steal a Leader re-roll.)

OK. Before I was thinking trophy RRs are eligible since they are to be handled in all ways as team RRs.

I'm hoping the BBRC fixes this item this year to the most common house rule out there on Trophy rerolls.

BTW,
what do you guys think would be a fair tournament (not league) price for the new halfling master chef.
I'm talking a no-winnings, no changes "resurrection" style tournament.

Same question for one-off games really.
I mean, paying just 80K (1 free chef + 4 x ingredients) for your opponent to lose 4-5 rerolls while you gain the same ammount.
Ouch.

Already decided this for GenCon for next year. Using a simple conversion ... freeboot wizard = 50k / Blood Bowl/Res tournament wizard = 150k.

Thus 150k/50k = 3x ... so a Master Chef is free, and he can purchase ahead of time extra Chef rolls for 60k (20k with the wizard 3x multiplier).

So based assuming that the Blood Bowl uses something like the Gen Con system which I know JJ was at least leaning towards doing.

A Blood Bowl tournament Halfling team with these rules in place might look like:

Deeproot 260k
2 Treeman 220k
10 Flings 300k
1 Rerolls 60k
Master Chef 120k (3 rolls total)
FF 4
