dauntless, ttm, starplayers for norse
hi,
three little questions:
1. can i use dauntless even if my opponent is announing a block against my trollslayer or can i use it only in my teams turn?
2. does ttm also counts as a teams pass action if you throw a goblin which is NOT carrying the ball?
3. do starplayers which play for human teams also play with norse-teams?
thanks,
Bert.

1. No, it can only be used for blocks that you "control" (ones that you roll for).bert28 wrote:hi,

2. Yes, LBR p23 "The monster must take a Pass action"...
3. No, the only star player allowed (currently) for the Norse team is Thrud

The end-zone “line of death” does not discriminate when one tempts fate by using a “go for it” to pass over it.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Norse Starplayers
From the GW-online store:
MORG'N'THORG - The most famous Ogre of all is Morg 'N' Thorg - star player for the Chaos All Stars. Available for Human, Norse, Chaos, Chaos Dwarf, Halfling, Orc, and Goblin teams.
GRASHNAK BLACKHOOF - Minotaurs are popular Big Guys in Chaos Teams. Available for Chaos, Chaos Dwarfs, and Norse.
THRUD THE BARBARIAN - Available for any team.
Though somewhere in the web I read Norse may choose the same starplayers as Humans.

Re: Norse Starplayers
Not anymore. According to the LRB 2.0 (and the Star Player cards .pdf), these 2 players will only play for the teams listed on their cards. I suppose GW didn't want to have to print new versions.OKatt wrote:From the GW-online store:

Correct.OKatt wrote:THRUD THE BARBARIAN - Available for any team.
IIRC that was either a rulesboyz reply, or a stopgap houserule that was overturned in a BBRC review. Either way, that's definetly not allowed anymore (I know, I asked for the BB tournamentOKatt wrote:Though somewhere in the web I read Norse may choose the same starplayers as Humans.

Wanna have this!
Can't wait until September. I've just found the information that the new female starplayer "Zara the Slayer" is also available for Norse teams. She will be released in September.
And here are Pics!
