Okay, you all convinced me. Goblins truly are useful in offence. Especially if there is one ogre too :D

Nice to see how it goes :)

My problem using the git on my orc team is that I've got a pretty well-developed team, at least for our league, except for the no SPP git. All four of my BOBs have block, one with guard. All four of my blitzers have block, guard. Two of them with tackle, one with an +AG, and one with +ST and dodge. The troll has block. Both throwers have block, one has Strong arm and the other accurate.
I usually don't even play the git, just the above 11 and concentrate on running the ball. The +AG guy just got the stat up so I'm excited about using him as a reciever, alas, he needs catch as we have all seen plenty of 1's on a dice roll.
I'll use the git on a TTM last turn option but have failed both times I tried it, once horribly. Yummy... Time for a new git.

I truly have now. I used two goblins in my offence and they were very useful. Actually, they are very good in diversion, too. From now on I'll have two goblins in my offence :)

I am a fairly decent orc player (In my own mind I am da King) and I use my gobbo for the following:

1. If I'm losing by one score or its a tie game in the last turn... he's the ultimate flying one-turner. Just line him up behind my ogre and get the ball to him some how.

2. His usual role in the team: The Sneaky Fouler, cheap, disposable and oh so replaceable. I'd rather lose my gob on a foul then any other player.

3. Wide Receiver: catcher role.

4. In dire emergencies: flying blitzer. Whup em at the ball carrier, hope he lands, and hope he rolls double pows :D

Problem is, goblins can't get dirty player, and fouling isn't really affective without that skill. Try fouling with a dirty player lineorc, you'll see how much better that is.

Thanks for the informations i got here about gobbo tactics... after my last game, where i lost one orc blitzer for a fan rock throw, i have to start the next game with just 9 orcs and one gobbo. Lets see, what i can do with him !

Good point. But I mainly play on fumbbl now... and a high rated orc team with a dp isnt going to get many games. And irregardless of dp, a gobbo with +4 assists is not a bad choice for a foul.

The point of a dirty player isn't to get +2 on armour; you're still supposed to use assists. Dirty player, if all goes well, is supposed to be used on the injury roll.

BunnyPuncher: You are correct - civility is the rarest of commodities on internet sites such as these. I'm not a fan of Zombie, but I think he was just trying to make a joke. Stay cool, man.

Yeah, he even disguised his age. 81 years, wasn't that Reagan's age when he was president?

Don't worry. Zombie messes up his english too. Though most of the people he hypocrtically flames for bad grammar aren't proficient enough to catch them. Just wait.

Don't worry, most people on this board are nice but, unfortunately, we are not immune to the clowns who must put others down to feel superior.

Go HERE to see what we think of Zombie.

I am immune. I got vaccinated as a child. Unfortunately for most, the vaccination managed to turn 30% of the weaker children into complete A-holes, so they stopped it. Still I think a 70% success rate was better than what we have now.

I've got one Goblin with Sure feet and Sure hands. He scores a friggin' lot of TD's. The other 3 Gobbos haven't earned any SPP yet and they're the ones that go airborne in desperate times or do assisting / fouling work.
