looking for games and order of play Q

Hi everyone, just got into BB and now have played a handful of games to get the hang of it, now I am looking for any players/groups playing in SW of UK, preferably the Plymouth area. I've considered the online thing, but I would rather play live games. Anyone interested in arranging a game pm me.

BTW, do you lot have any scheme for which order to play your moves, and how to remember which players have been used already in a turn???

One thing a lot of people do to remember who has moved is turn theier players models backwards. then, only forward facing models are available. Seems to work well, but once you get used to the game you won't need it. It is nice to do in a competition, though.

Our convention is to turn players sideways, and only put them straight backwards when they are boneheaded. It's a pretty straightforward way to do things.

I've seen the "players backwards" method and it's great for tourneys to show you ain't trying to cheat or anything, but in "friendly" games we generally just remember.

How many bonehead failed players can you have in your team? I mean, if you fail the bonehead roll, don't worry, your opponent will remember it! Doesn't need you to face the player anywhere.

We play that way also, turning players backwards are done for the turn.

We also turn players sideward if they ended their action. And backward to show that they are bonehead.

I use the "player sideways" method too, although it's no house rule. Simply to keep up with who moved and who didn't.

I play tested some of the Ogre rosters. When your opponent is making 6 or 7 bonehead rolls a turn, it becomes a little easier to forget.
