did I see that correctly, a Blitzer dead and a BO with a niggling, or was he just out for the game?

"just "one blitzer dead and no other injuries. The wight of my first opponent got a niggling wound... smashed hand... and a dead skeleton with chainsaw, which his necromancer revived again

But i just earned 40000, that would be enough for another gobbo, but i will save it for a apothecary now

Hopefully you'll get 60,000 after the next game, then you can get the apo and a linemen. With a starting ork team you need the full team I think. They need a few games to start building up skills.

Keen the gobbo out of harms way as much as possible and try to score with him. After he got block, he is a little less vulneruble.

good luck in the next game. I think Orks are a lot of fun in league play.

As my TR went down to 99 i will get some more dice for the money as i remember ?!

I just check for the teams of my next opponents: today undead, then orcs, norses, ogres and finaly skavens, than i´m through my division. And hopeful have left some orcs standing ...

Not quite true. Gobbo's can't get block on a normal skill roll, they need double to get it.

Well, wow, even worse this time... 0:3 against me. He, maybe i should stay just a collector...

I was down one blitzer from the last game and so started with 10 players including my hero gobbo... when he had known the end, he never would turn up... but later.
The game started quite good , in front of 64000 fans... for the undead team.

Blitz for the kicking team... chrunch, Black Orc down... KO... for my team.

There was a heavy pushing and bashing in the center of the field... if i will give a award to one person of my team it would be the guy who made the armor !
Taff as my orcs were they get up again and again ... while on the left flank my thrower and his pal, the orcblitzer, tried to break through....

my thrower.. a little disturbed, while watching the BOs going down again, still found a good place to pass the egg. He was tackle after the thro. And the damm gobbo just need to dodge one more, but no... dice 1, reroll 1 again.... and the ball landed into the fans the undead fans, which throw the ball as far as possibe away from my orcs. Finaly he was blitzed...argh.

they tried hard to get this damm egg over the edge, but no chance. So close, but still to far.

Turn 6 first half... another lineorc went out ... two players KO...

well, i just wanna tell after the first half, one of my BO and a LO wanted to stay in the dugout, having a beer, watching the game and making telefon calls... you get the picture.

At last i stop one of his flank attacks... but after this, the egg went to the other side and with my small team i couldnt stop them... and,argh, another Blackork down, this time serious injured.... groinstrain.

My gobbo wasnt fast enough, the mummy got him, too... bad day for the little one... serious concussion... he lost -1AV. Just a great day today.

Turn 7 second half... 0:2... against me. Just 7 players left on the field. Ok, da plan, lets concentrate on the right flank. Great, Quick snap... my players moved as close as possible at the undeads to block through the line.... and the ball shattered as far as possible from my players ... just in front of the undeads at my the undefended flank. Another missed reroll... and 0:3

Hehooo... i love dices.

At last i tried to foul... hopeless... i tried to block.. i tried to reroll... i change dices ... i used NAF dices, finaly i managed to get 1 - one ! - SPP for a CAS.

Well, no much more to say... 0:3 , two serious injured players, a kind opponent coach, who couldnt stop smiling, while watching my dices... but, all together, a nice evening ...

Traveller, welcome to the long and painful road that is the learning process for every new coach. This was a tough game for you - being 2 players down is a very tough thing for an Orc team to overcome against just about anyone. Were you standing up your Black Orcs and putting them right in front of the Mummies over and over?

I saw one rule inconsistancy in the description - the ball scatter should be resolved before you move your players for Quick Snap.

yes, mostly i did... i hope in this way to keep his centre force out of the game as i was on the field with less players.

And i tried to get his ghules for some casualities... but no luck with the dices, too. I knew, i´m a beginner, but my mistakes PLUS bad dices... thats not necassary to loose!

I´m not sure anymore which event we resolve first... but as its just one square to move at this Quick Snap it doesnt matter anyway

The ball shattered 6 squares in the wrong direction !

I think, i will start a new collection, when i go for tournements... this wooden spoon thing ?!

Seems like you coaching career is starting a little rough, but i'm sure you'll get into it quickly.

Losing a player in the first match is ALWAYS one of the worst things to happen to a Blood Bowl coach. The after-effects for the next games are really bad and you can't avoid being outnumbered for some games.

However, with cash coming in and a decent FF you will get over it and orcs are on of the best medium-TR teams.

If you need another training match, let me know

Tomorrow i will see, how much money i will get from the last game.
And than i will have to decide, what i will do next. This time no skills for my team. My poor gobbo got the SPPs for the MVP... and he deserved it

Yes, Tim, i need some more training... before i come to Mannheim and get my own massacre

Well, until End of August there are two more months in my league here.So i will get some training anyway...
As i heard, one team had to quit already... no more players on the pitch. So i´m not the worst case.

Hm, it s possible to watch JavaBowl games as spectator ? Could be a help for me , too.

Well, my " luck" with dices returned.... for dicing for the new FF i should dice no 1 or 2... ok, a 2. Minus 1 FF. Damm ! For the money 1D6 +4... a 3. So only 70.000 for the second and 40.000 of the first game. Just 10.000 more and i got more possibilities.

Total 110.000 and, after casualities of the last game, down to 8 players for the next game against 11 orcs. And i knew my opponent coach likes to bash...

Thats what i got right now:

1 Gobbo (-1AV)

...missing next game
1 BO ... missing next game

2 BO
1 Thrower
2 Blitzer
3 Lineorcs

How to spent the money ?

- Hm, one lineorc and a another gobbo ?
- a new blitzer or BO and saving 30.000 for the apothecary next time ?
- a apothecary and lineorc ?
- another thrower and a Gobbo ?
- two lineorcs ? This version i dont like very much.
