Mighty Blow on Both Down?

Post by SBG »

If you roll Pow/Skull (both down unless Block), can the player who IS BEING BLOCKED use his MBlow? We had this yesterday : wood elf blocking an Ogre, both down, and the Ogre used his Mblow.

I thought it was "illegal" because he wasn't in control, since he fell down, unlike following a Piling On where you choose to go down.

Please, enlighten me!

LRB pp36 "This may only be used to modify an Armour or Injury roll caused by a block."

So you can.

Yeah, we ran across that line, but I was doubting that you could be on the receiving end of the Block. In any case, we played it correctly and he only stunned my guy so...

By the way, Welf are fragile, but they kick ass! It was my first game with them and boy is it fun !

But I thought you could only use it if you didn't go prone as well?

you can't when you're down there is no time to jump up and pile into your opponent, despite the lot of fun it might be, no piling on when you're down
