Myself and a mate usually write this extravagant team profiles for our best BB teams/Necro gangs etc....

I had just put loads of effort into a full page profile of my star orc blitzer Wallis Twocutters (my other blitzer being Grommit) anyway guess what happens...next match before my team profile is complete Twocutter gets pasted by a Dark Elf blitzer.

My other contributions are....

Snagar Dogbreath (my namesake :)) who copped it when I accepted a bribe to play a mates old old (and hugely illegal) Asgard ravens team. The funniest casulaty ever was a dark elf on the same blokes newest Dark Elf team who not 3 days ago killed himself whilst "going for it"

Classic.

Farinrodorel, team-captain of the Ashenvale Protectors, well, sort of passed away. The most successful Wardancer in fumbbl history was the cornerstone of Ashenvale's offensive and defensive game as well.
During a game against Unearthly (4-1, last kick-off into a playerless Protector's half) which would take place under the worst imaginable conditions (pouring rain all the time), Farinrodorel, as the most agile player of his team, took the initiative and scored 3 touchdowns almost single-handedly in the beginning of the game and tripped over his own feet on his way to his fourth toudown. Even thorough training couldn't prevent that. He died, as the apoth would fail to successfully treat him.
However, the good news for all those fans out there is: Farinrodorel did not abandon the sport and continues as a member of the Dead Pillars which he joined immediately upon his death. His former fellow teammates wish him all the best for his second career as a member of Unearthly.

Farinrodorel:
Woodie-Blitzer (i.e. Wardancer)
Block, Dodge, Leap
Tackle, Strip Ball, Side Step, Shadowing, Pass Block
Nerves of Steel, AG+1
Niggling Injury
255 SPPs overall

GFI failed ---> RR failed ---> AV broke ---> Injury ---> Casuality ---> killed ---> apoth failed ---> turned into zombie

couldn't imagine a cooler unend for such a career as his! :smoking:

I agree! :D

The end-zone “line of death” does not discriminate when one tempts fate by using a “go for it” to pass over it.

We all mourn the passing of King Skink, at fumbbl, on the 18th of May 2003, playing the orc team, Skullsnappers. For the length of his career he only missed 1 game, despite also having a niggling injury. He died on a block from goblin Too anna Nuvver Wun, away from the play. Fumbbl Match report.

King skink: 8 2 3 7 Dodge, Stunty, Block, Side Step, Sure Hands. He played 17 games, had 1 completion, 7 touchdowns, 5 MVP's, and 47spp's.

He was one of the few Triassic members that remember the horror of playing two Norse teams in a row, at the start of the teams career. And was one of the few that survived that debacle. He was even elected MVP in the first game Triassic played.

King skink was the only skink present in Game 3 of Triassic's career, and despite his best efforts were unable to beat the Halflings.

He made an astounding 11 spp's in Game 4 against the Goblin team, L'Empeur da Gits. Making two touchdowns and getting an MVP. After the game he learned 2 skills, both doubles, allowing him to have Block, and surehands.

King continued his career as a defensive blitzing skink, and a ball grabber. He was the Magic Johnson of skinks, he did not score much, but he moved the ball most of the distance.

King Skink will be greatly missed in Coldstone, and on Triassic.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

It's time to mourn the Death of a Legend in the TBBF. :(

Zippy Hands - Goblin Legendary Player
7 3 3 6 Sidestep, Block, Catch, Leap, Diving Tackle

2 Comp., 50 TD's, 11 Cas., 5 MVP's : 199 SPP's

Finally caught and run down by a Dwarf Troll-Slayer while making a break to the endzone. In irony right after this the Star Runner who then ran over to get the ball blew his GFI and fell right on his corpse. Zippy in his dying breath managed to kill the dwarf in return. Da Maggot Scum immediately killed another Dwarf on their turn! :pissed:

The bright side is it netted me 43 TR BACK for my team, which balances off having two other Legendary players...I'm sick of bloated TR! :smoking:

Well he went the way I always figured he'd go...horribly.

Even the Goblin coach gets a +1 to injury rolls! Ow!

This may well be a contender for 'oldest active thread'.
Dunno about RIP, this one keeps coming back in the best horror tradition.

Think of poor Kelvariel, a Wood Elf Catcher, who had done nothing wrong except having block/dodge/sidestep, and by that utterly annoy an entire Chaos team who couldn't get him down. Except for that one last time ofcourse....

Lucy (yes, he does most of the killing here :)) was kind enough to actually make up a little poem

"When the nights go dark
and the dogs go bark

When the nights go blue
and the cows go mooh

Think of unfortunate Kelvariel
Who got killed during Bloodbowl
yahoo.......
