Wow. That's a whole lotta update... great job, Ski.

I might install the developer tools here at home and put my versions up the mirror, or I will get to it on Monday. I only have them installed at work. I slack.

Thanks again, Ski. This looks great.

Looks fantastic. Special thanks for the Skill/Ageing roll part Ski, thanks a lot.

However there is still this issue with the characteristics changes remaining when a updated roster is loaded into the "Team creator". Have you talked to Ronald Lokers about thiis issue?

It seems in my hast to put out the versions I didn't include the new version of the ini files I made. So yes, the snots and the new elves were left out. But I also left out the nugle rotters the vampire and the necromantic team. So the 6.0 download has been updated to include these now. You should get the new 6.0 download (just redownload it from any site). Sorry for the mix up.

Now this one has everything you need! :-)

Characteristics changes? I'm not even aware of the problem.

Mirrored at http://witwat.net/luke/javabbowl with the extra mac .app and the BSD .jar.

I yanked my extra orc and human images and field images (since they're now included, thanks ski), but don't you worry. I'm working on a few new things to add on for us obsessive-compulsive customizin' fools...

Its about the Team Creator tool from www.pbembb.com
As you know I'm pushing to make this tool the "standard" JBB team management tool. After recent updates, it is possible to use it to create and update JBB Teams.

You can create a Team, load it into JBB and after the game load the updated roster from the results folder back into Team Creator. Everything works quite nicely unless a player characteristic changes.

For example if you receive a -1 MA injury, you load the roster into TC and it gets properly recognised. When you then save the team after making purchases in TC, the changed player characteristic is saved in "bold" html tags. That causes the characteristic to be 0 when the modified Team is loaded into JBB.

So this is keeping my league from using the tool which would otherwise be close to perfect for JBB.

Ohh...the bold tags. Yes, last I heard Ronald was going to put in an option to not use bold for stat changes. I have heard nothing since so you might want to ask Ronald or Galak about it.

There is a new 6.1 patch on the same download page as the original game download.

Main:
http://www.geocities.com/javabbowl/
Mirrors:
http://javabbowl.no-ip.org/
http://home.austin.rr.com/javabbowl/

The 6.1 patch adds secret weapons and the ability to download opponent custom portraits. Also, chain pushes are fixed.

Download the "patch6_1.zip". Unzip the contents to the original install directory. It will overwrite the "bbowl.jar", "readme.txt" files.

There is a (not so) new 6.1f patch on the same download page as the original game download.

Main:
http://www.geocities.com/javabbowl/
Mirrors:
http://javabbowl.no-ip.org/
http://home.austin.rr.com/javabbowl/

Also, with Mac .app and BSD .jar
http://witwat.net/luke/javabbowl

Bug fixes and a missing icon.

I wonder if my installer is working and updating properly... :-?

I suppose the fact nobody's said "Hey, it's broken!" bodes well, since you generally only hear about anything if it DOESN'T work.

There is a new 6.2 patch on the same download page as the original game download.

Main:
http://www.geocities.com/javabbowl/
Mirrors:
http://javabbowl.no-ip.org/
http://home.austin.rr.com/javabbowl/

The 6.2 patch is just more secret weapon fixes and a chainpush fix. I just got tired of using 6.1x.

Download the "patch6_2.zip". Unzip the contents to the original install directory. It will overwrite the "bbowl.jar", "readme.txt" files.

6.3b is out. I think Ski forgot to mention it.

I dunno who really looks in this thread for new versions, though. I think BadMrMojo's stuff is up too.
