Always makes me suspicious when I see so many characteristic upgrades than regular skills on a team-sheet... I count eleven +1s, and only 15 skills or traits.

I guess it has to happen one time in a million :puke:

Just couldn't resist.
4 Catchers averaging MA 10.25.
And before I bought a new Thrower and Lineelf recently, the Elves averaged an AG of 5!

And there was me thinking this thread was about the band....

Pretty scary team though, especially with a team rating of 'only' 215.

to be perfectly honest i wouldn't want that many +ag line elves...there are better skills they could be taking...and ag5 wardancers are great, but i'd have to think about turning down the ag6.

On Friday night the release party for VNV Nation's brand new album is 500 meters away from where I live!
My girl friend knows Ronan and therefore got a card for me too! :D

:o :o :o
Geeze, did you ever see a pass-blocking AG 6 Wardancer on duty? He intercepts on a 3+. And getting the ball loose on many occasions, he not only can dodge in and out of umpteenth tackle zones, he even can pick it up easily in the vicinity of several enemy players. Unbelievable you would discard that.
Same is true for AG 5 Elves. Almost unstoppable and simply insane once they've got Leap.

i've had a passblocking ag6 catcher....catch, dodge, passblock, leap, pro in fact...she was a complete terror. i didn't see pass block on that wardancer though.

as for the line elves...great you've got guys with ag5 and leap...but no block, no dodge, nothing to keep them alive. one or two guys like that is cool, but a whole team of it is not.

Not yet...

Well, with AG 5 it should only be a matter of time (i.e. a very few games) until the necessary SPPs for these skills come by naturally. 8)

Much more peculiar: he gave that now ST 4 Lineelf Pass Block as his first skill. I'd rather jeopardize that choice and would have expected Block there.

That's exactly my point. the guy has 2 agility upgrades, his next skill when he gets it is passblock. now you've spent 3 rolls on your best player that don't have anything to do with that players primary role, which is hitting people and taking the ball away. Then if you want catch for that int reroll, that's 4.

not likely...line elves with their 3rd skill never come quickly...and not having block or dodge means they'll be injured a lot too.

yep true enough...

I'm flattered. I hadn't checked this topic for a while.

If you want a real laugh, though, take a look at them now... 3 tough games and they're all but done for.

That was actually an accident. For his first skill I picked passblock when I intended to get passblock for the ag5 WD. I could have nagged someone to change it, but the admins are busy enough, so I just went with it. Then he got +ST on his second skill. </kick myself>

At one point I had 10 stat upgrades spread over 12 players (7 +AGs) and the only injury on the team was the -ma on the kicker. Things have.... changed since that happy time.

Only 10 men :o, seven for the next game????

They ARE done for.

In our league we had a HE team with about 5 or so AG increases - who all ended up with leap. Its just the way it goes, like we have one dark elf blitzer whos stats are 7458 and the other one is 7448 +guard in the same team

I personally never roll any increases (except for Chekov. Poor ,poor checkov :()

I just played a game with my HE and got +AG on both Dragon Warriors as their 2nd skill :D Its a bit weird though because one already had tackle and the other Dauntless, so they can't take really good advantage of it until the get that 3rd skill.
