Hey everybody... I've been playing bloodbowl for a long long time with my Orcs and I'd like to get a little more competitive in the tournament (non league) play. With that being said I don't have to worry about casulties or gathering star player points.
What are your thoughts on these three armies from the get go, and how do they stand up in a 6 game tournamnet like what's coming up in the Chaos Cup? The three I'm looking at are drastically different, I've been playing my orcs for a good deal of time. Three different teams... just need some help on performance in the non-league one off games (designed for tournaments).
1. Orcs
2. Lizardmen
3. Wood Elves.
Any input would be great. as well as what a good non-league tournament starting lineup would work!
Thanks,
Brian

Hey, didn't you ask this on the Fumbbl Forums?
My answer is the same.
As for your second question over there, I can't help you.

Just in case Asperon didn't say it. If you are taking Orcs to the Chaos Cup, I highly recommend grabbing Varag for your team.
Even for the GenCon Bowl where Varag cannot use rerolls and costs 220k ... he's a possible buy as he comes with Pro which helps offset the no rerolls for stars rules for the tournament. But that's a pretty major investment you'd have to really think about for this format.
Am example of that team for GenCon would be:
Varag, Ogre, 2 Blitzers, 4 Goblins, 4 Lineman, 2 rerolls, 2 FF
For the Chaos Cup, I'd probably try this team:
Varag, Ogre, 4 Blitzers, 2 Goblins, 2 Lineman, 1 Thrower, 2 rerolls, 3 FF
Galak
