Hey. A few months ago, I posted a message containing the most popular skill choices for all races (gathered from the FUMBBL data).

I recently got a request to post updated numbers, so here it is. As before, the number in brackets is the number of skill choices for each type and it's divided in regular skills and doubles.

Quite surprised by these two.
For all Bullcentaurs and at least half of my Sauri i'd opt for Break Tackle as a first skill. Makes them much more mobile and impossible to tie up and outmanvouver. Also helps to generate more SPP, at least in case of the BCs.

If I understand correctly this is the first skill for every player in that position?
So if you had 6 linemen on a team it would be the 1st skill taken by each? So if you gave 1 kick, 1 dirty player and 4 block you'd get 66% block, 16.7% kick, 16.7% DP.

Maybe that indicates why some of the numbers look funny - but I'm with Tim. Break Tackle is a very useful 1st skill for BCs and Saurus.

No, it's not the first skill.

As an example, that bull Centaur row:

633 "normal" skills are recorded in total.

55% (348) of the skills are block, 15% (95) are break tackle, 7% (44) are tackle etc.

Hope that clears it up.

I m agree with that, but i feel like playing on Fumbbl is slighty different from irl league, and after playing a couple of games on it, i m taking a lot of block too . The game just seem more violent there than in other league ...

So a majority of Wood Elf coaches actually seem to agree that Jump Up
is better than Dauntless (at least in fumbbl).
I'm quite surprised by 79% Strong Arm. With each other race I'd agree, but for Woodies I'd have expected NoS.

It's obvious, an Elf Thrower with Accurate and Strong Arm makes a Long bomb with 2+, if he's standing in a TZ he will still throw the ball quite well (assuming he has accurate & strong arm instead of Accurate & NoS), so NoS is not a must, but Strong arm is a sure thing if you want to make those stunning passing game. NoS is much more useful for catchers than for Throwers.
