Throw Team mate Casualties

Post by Lewdgrip »

Me and my father were playing undead vs Hafling, to my luck i threw one of my 'flings and ended up killing his Wilhelm chaney, my question is who gets the credit for causing the casualty, Treeman or the Hafling?

All the previous posters stated the proper rules, but they forgot one major advantage when killing valuable players by tossing 'flings or gobbos at them...

You get to gloat and chuckle for ages! And in my book that counts for a whole lot more than those 2 measly SPP's. :)

I threw a gobbo at an empty square surrounded by 1 chos dwarf, one hob with the ball, 1 minataur, 1 bull centor. Where did the gob land?
Right on target

My favorite instance was when a halfling hit a mummy, and both players died.

Stupid mummy regenerated, though. :(

Nice. Kills made by Halflings are always special, but killing a mummy for good would have been brilliant. Well, I am very very sure that the Undead manager wants your Halfling dead :)

I can't take credit for it, unfortunately. It happened in another game I was watching. In 3rd edition, I did kill a troll with a halfling by blocking it, watching it fail the apothecary and the subsequent 2+ regeneration roll. The halfling wound up injured himself, though.

I have the "honour" of taking on Galak's 'Flings with one of the test Ogre rosters (They suck, btw). Last turn of 1st half, down to 7 players (1 SO, 1 BH), I only need to scatter 1 square towards the EZ to have a chance art scoring, or at least I could hit a 'Fling. But no, my stupid ogre decides to throw an accurate pass :pissed:

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
