Strong Arm in a blizzard
Simple question.
Can you throw further with strong arm in a blizzard (or any of the other limited pass range options) as the trait states that the pass counts as if it were one pass band less? So a long throw would count as a short pass.
Thanks.

No you can not throw further than a short pass on the range ruler. Strong arm gives you the bonus that a long pass would be treated as a short pass for modifiers.
Consider this. It's a blizzard
, you can see almost nothing; that's the main reason that you can only throw a short pass. A strong arm doesn't give you more eyesight. You wouldn't be able to see who you are throwing the ball to!!!!

No. Strong Arm allows you to reduce the range penalty by one band, not the range.Bathoz wrote:Simple question.

Widh I'd said it like that. Less words and the solution oh so clear! This strong arm thing happens all the time though cause people most of the time want to bend the rules to there advantage!ianwilliams wrote:No. Strong Arm allows you to reduce the range penalty by one band, not the range.

Unfortunately, that's not what the rules actually say, but its how they have been interpreted by BBRC members.Draco wrote:Widh I'd said it like that. Less words and the solution oh so clear!ianwilliams wrote:No. Strong Arm allows you to reduce the range penalty by one band, not the range.
