Yet another Throw Team Mate question

Post by MixX »

Okay, yesterday I played an Orc team, which included a troll and some Gobbo's. My opponent wanted to throw a goblin, and rolled a 4 which was inaccurate but not a fumble. The square the was throwing to was only 3 squares from the Troll itself, and the following scatter-rolls meant that the Goblin actually landed on the Troll who had just thrown him! We ruled that (as usual) they were both knocked over, but is this correct? We simply imagined that the Troll had thrown the Gobbo straight up instead of forward... anyone who knows the correct way to go about this??

Yes, they'd both be knocked over.

And that's a beautiful story.

It is very nice :) he had just been gloating that "no matter what it isn't a Turnover, so I'll just blitz your ball-carrier afterwards"... BTW it IS a turnover isn't it? Not for the Goblin, but for the Troll being knocked over?

Just for the record, Is the Troll knocked over and pushed back (and what if he has SF?), or does the goblin keep on scattering and doing even more damage.

Would be a nice new Star Player. Bumpy the bouncing Gobbo. Flings himself to an opponent and then bouces three times, hurting everybody on the way. OK, too unbalanced, but, just imagine! :smoking:

Stand firm only applies to pushbacks as a result of a block.
The troll "scatters" to a random square, pushing back whoever stands (or lies) there to make room for the crashing goblin.

Another funny TTM case.

My ogre (he was standing at the line of scrimmage) threw a goblin holding the ball. He landed succesfully and tried to score a td. He failed GFI at endzone, and behold, ball bounced back to my ogre.
