Fumble Recovery (General Skill)
A player may use this skill whenever a ball is fumbled whether in his own turn or opponents. The player may move one square to land on a fumbled ball, the movement MUST end on the square where the ball comes to rest or the skill may not be used.
You must dodge in or out of tackle zones as per usual and must attempt to pick the ball up with normal modifiers applying to it.
A fumble for this skill is whenever a player drops the ball due to fumbbled pass, a failed hand-off, dropped catch, failed pickup or a block that causes the ball to land on the ground.

Nice idea but a bit abusive
1) drop the last example (=losing ball due to block), else it will be even more difficult to knock balls lose when the defending player is escorted by an another player with this skill
2) do you realize that this skill lessens the effect of TZ bc fumbles are much more likely to occur with negative modifier and that means this skill will help you much more in dangerous situations than in standard situations (like standing alone and catching the ball) and it favours players with high AG (remember AG5 means in most cases either success of fumble, for those players its practically a 2nd and 3rd bonus RR, Example: catch roll 1, catch RR roll 1, fumble recovery roll 1, TRR roll 2 success at last!)

Good point, I'd like to keep it with blocking fumbles, but I can't see any way to make it work too welldrop the last example (=losing ball due to block), else it will be even more difficult to knock balls lose when the defending player is escorted by an another player with this skill

Ah, typo on my part, left out the point where a player can't use FR on one of his own fumbled balls (ahem).Example: catch roll 1, catch RR roll 1, fumble recovery roll 1, TRR roll 2 success at last!
I was also thinking that there could be an additional -1 to pickup the ball if using FR and adding (to clarrify)
"If two or more players are eligible to recover the ball (at least one from each team), then roll a d6 and add the players Agility, the highest result gets to the ball first (re-roll any ties).

I like the idia. Perhaps seperate skills for retriving your team's and your opponents fumbles as a limit?
Or :It takes a movement point (can't use if that player has moved), if you use it to collect your opponent's fumble, that player has used a movement point and must move first (even before wild animals)
