Indeed. Wasn't it obvious for everyone? Everybody likes to laugh at Bush. You should only take this seriously if you actually are Bush.

Goblins having pretty much the only access to agility skills on the Orc team naturally turns them into 'flair' players. So while your blitzers can and do score, they are unlikely to ever become real catchers because they'd need at least 2 doubles and a stat increase to become reliable. My goblin has sure feet and catch and is romping towards diving catch! I have another I bring out as a living missile, but I have never successfully got him airborne.
I have been known to play them on defence but not regularly. I don't subscribe to the 'if you field him he's dead' philiosophy, because unless you're playing dwarves there's a fair chance his dodge skill will keep him on his feet. However he ain't strong and dodging is more risky than blocking. I'd field him against a team like chaos - who's blitzes are going to be S4 anyway, and because there's a good opportunity for slipping through the line to threaten the ball. They can obviously chase him down but then they sacrifice players from the ruck that really decides the game.

so, yesterday i played my 4th local league game and i took a second gobbo with me. Lot of fun , my fobbo with ball running my own ! touchdown area and trying to evade attacking beastmem... and he succeded ! The other goblin managed later to bring the ball just before the opponent touchdown zone where my orcblitzer took over ... tatataa !

Well, now i got to choice a skill for one of my gobbos ... i think i will take "catch". Seems the best choice for the first skill, after reading this post. But i have to reconsider it , because my gobbo got a smashed skull and so -1 AV... ? Maybe something different to protect him from more harm ?

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
