Help with Tactics

I have been thinking what kind of defence to build with my Orc team vs Elves. So far like the following lineup. However, still wondering how to place my players. What do you think of this lineup?

01 Blocker; block
02 Ogre
03 Blocker; block
04 Lineman; block, tackle

05 Blitzer; guard
06 Blocker
07 Blitzer; guard, leader
08 Blocker

09 Blitzer; guard
10 Blitzer; guard
11 Lineman; block, kick

Players 4 or 5 just need knocking down, then it is a simple 2+ dodge past players 10 or 9.

Sorry, not much help assisting, just pointing how i would attack this.

Bottom line is Elves are good at dodging so IMO there is not many defensive set ups that work that well, unless you have 11 longbeards (tackle).

One of things you can think about is that if you put BOBs and/or the Ogre on the LOS then Elves just aren't going to break through the middle. That allows you to focus more on defending the wide zones.

Also BOBs can be effectively deployed to block off the widezones - without Dauntless the elves are going to have a tricky time dodging round.

Note that #4 is left deep so that he can blitz any player who does dodge through the lines.

If they DO have dauntless, though, Ian's defense can be easily overcome on one of the wide zones. So, in that case, try your setup, ogre and BOBs on the line, two more BOBs on position 4 and 5, deploy rest as you see fit. Probably one blitzer deep for the farthest receiver.

Note also to set up 2 squares back in the wide zones (like ian has) to avoid kick off quick snap embarrassment...

Actually, it is very useful to know how an elf coach breaks my defence. It has been a very long time since I've played any fast team, so I may easily forget something obvious...

Cheers. That can be very useful (if the opponent doesn't have dauntless). However, if the opponent does have dauntless, this can be a broken a bit too easily. A useful formation, though

Agree. I was wondering how to place my blockers. That sounds good.
