Nope Traveller, not boring at all. I really enjoy reading them stories. You've got really bad luck on the injuries there. Quite badly beaten up so far. Let's hope it'll stabilize at some point.
But then, to push for a victory against that lineup is great. Probably would have felt better, if you killed one or two of his though, right?

Please do not stop these reports. Very entertaining! And your games always seem to produce some nice stories.

Now for some thoughts on the game ...

- his defence setup at the fist kick was VERY tough. I would have went for a heavy setup on one wing, mostly ignoring the other side. Maybe you should keep a Blitzer back with the Gobbos to guards them a little, before they team up with the rest of the gang.

- I know it's easy to say, but try to guard your ballcarrier better :)

- Paint the ball, then your passes will work better :)

- Kickoff half 2, you have 5 players down. That's one too much. Only let him hit the 3 on the line and one by blitz, but no more. Always keep a player back to handle the breakthrough.

With your tendency to gain serious injuries, it's either extremly bad luck or you do something wrong ...
- you do the unmodified D6 after a 10+ injury roll to determine the injury type (BH, SI, DEAD), do you?
- with 2 BoBs SI, what was the third casulty of the game and on which one did you use your apothecary?

Good idea... to concentrate on one flank. Specialy when i´m playing with less players... and a blitzer a bodyguard, yes, i have to remember this, too.

yes, that was the first mistake of this game... well, no excuse, but those CW st4, always double dices, push my defence quite fast away. His troll mostly was ready to do something. I just was lucky he always just push one of my lineorc around, which i left him to keep him occupied :wink:

hm , i´m not sure if i understand this right. This how we handled this event:
First a 2d6 for the armorbreack, if yes, than a 2d6 for the result (stunned, ko, casualty), if casualty another 1d6 for the kind of injury, if serious injury it follows another 2d6 to find out which kind of serius injury (11-66).
Should be ok , or ?
- with 2 BoBs SI, what was the third casulty of the game
it was one gobblin but just badly hurt. (missing the last 2 turns of second half of this game)

Argh, i plain forgot to use my apothecary... as i never played with one, i though he just good to deads and niggling injuries BEFORE the game. Just read the rules... maybe i can reroll this event , have to ask my organisers. DAMMMMMMMMM ! You are right, Tim !!!

right now we got a lot of animals at home:
1 (War)Hamster
2 guinea pigs
2 funny mouses... just for the holidays of a collegue.

i respect wasps... but i got a agreement with the people of wasps. I will kill no single wasp, but if i ever become stung from one of those insects i will kill every wasp i can get !!
Long time ago, a wasp stung me 3 times before i can get of my trousers :o ... before someone asked, i was stung just in the leg,nothing else :roll: ... but after this unprovoked attack i killed about 300 wasps per day over the time of a few weeks of my summer holidays... kids can be soooo cruel, you knew, and i was a kid once :wink: ... just waiting next to a bin full of empty cola cans with a tally sheet of kills !
After this i never got a sting again.... :smoking:

Guess you'll think of it next game ... :wink:

Actually the apothecary can be used on EVERY injury roll, even on a stunned result. Might be useful if a player falls down a few squares from the opponents endzone in turn 7 half 2 and you still have the ball.

In addition to your game reports, you should add your childhood stories. The picture of you trying to rip of the pants while the wasp is having a field day is just hillarious.

You need a good painted mini as apo and you won't forget her 8)

The conversion orcteam already got a apothecary mini. But i´m not sure if i got enough time to paint him before end of August...

My last opponent coach agreed to my wish, to reroll the "healing try" of my last game. Argh, since game number one, where my bitzer was killed by a rockthrow and i didnt have a apo, i got three serious niggling injuries, plus the -1AV of my gobblin, and i never used my apo... :zzz: :?: :zzz:

Big cat, hm, you should go on vacation to Kenia, they might have something for you there.

... next game next week i have to play against a norse team.

It will be a hard game. And it would be the first game i got some advantage of my BO ST (after 2 Undead teams with mummies and chaosteam with CDs), but as it seems, 2 of 3 BOs are missing THIS game :o Maybe i´m allowed to reroll one injury of one BO from the last game. But i´m not sure of this. Argh, just one norse ogre player ST5 and i could have 3 BOs with ST4... dammm ! And i have to kick this time...

hm, i asked somewhere else, but here again, as the TBBs knew my story here :wink: ... i have to decide which skill i will give my Gobbo -1AV.

Well, i already knew... thanks, Dave... i have to be careful for these frency norse players at the sidelines.

how about dirty player for the little git.

If you want to stay on the decent side, I'd go for catch. Have him score as long as he's alive. Sidestep seems like a waste for this one. When he retires (one way or the other) you can give that to another gobbo.

good luck against the norse. I play with a Mino for more fun, other than that, the block skill is nice, so beware of that. therefore it is not so critical, that your BOs are not there. The Blitzers should do more of the "cleaning".
