I don't think you could be accused of trolling in a thread called "Why does Nuffle Suck?" But anyway, I suppose if anyone wants to go toe to toe with the NBA, then use the fight forum.

Speakikng of BB games, how's the war going on that Nationstates site? Nuffle Haters vs BB Nations, anyone actually play a game yet? Not involved, just wondering.

Nah, seems to have gone a bit dead, since I recruited BP. The site hasn't been updated (I sent the wrong team in), and of approx 30 players, only 5 of us have bothered to sumbit rosters

It is very sad.

In BB Nations people are campaigning for new delegates, my response was, "Unless you are sending a roster and participating in the war, don't even try to get my vote."

Of course only 3 of 5, NBA'rs have sent in rosters.

Maybe I will challenge DL when he gets Javabowl up and running.

Of course my friend, he helps. It would be wrong to think he would not be helping. However, he gives victory as well. Sometimes you have to wait untill the end of season, but it will come! Patience is rewarded, allthough you never know how!

And what you have failed to realise is the reason that Draco rolled all those ones BEFORE he joined the RCN (Reformed Church of Nuffle, not the Royal College of Nursing

You feeble minded NBA'ers are under the misguided belief that "you make your own luck". How very wrong you are. Nuffle blesses some of your dice so that you BELIEVE you are doing well without him, only to bring you crashing down at the key moments. Let me ask you, how many times have you failed dodges/GFIs at key moments? Since become a reformed activist and crusading Nuffle evangelist I have NEVER failed at a key point!

Whether you care to believe it or not, Nuffle IS controlling the number of skulls and 1's you roll, it is just the paranoia mercilessly implanted in your mind by Torg, (then ruthlessly played upon by Darkson et al.) that makes you think that it is just "the way it is".

I implore you - wake from this delusion, and return to the fold so you may receive the blessings of Nuffle once more. Even the blighted NBA'ers can still receive Nuffle's love if they repent NOW.

I have proof! May Nuffle forgive me, but I played 3 games as an experiment... In the first, as much as it pained me, I blasphemed against His name and lo I was destroyed (4-0). In the second, I decided to simply play, without invoking His assistance or encouraging His wrath - little did I realise that by not offering up requests for assistance I WAS incurring His mighty wrath - and I still lost, although by a smaller margin (2-1). In the third and final game, I offered up my pleas to Nuffle and lo He did not desert me. With His righteous hand on my shoulder I did doth smite mine enemies into the turf, acheiving a record 6-0 victory, and leaving but 2 players on the pitch. Truly it was an awesome sight!

Remember, Nuffle will never give you 6s and POWs all the time - we must learn to handle defeat as it is part of His plan. Only by suffering and our subsequent recovery and improvement will we become triumphant!!

Thank you for this great example. It was like bathing in a cool pool with swealtering heat!

The nice thing the NAF doesn't seem to realize that, without Nuffle, they would be non existent. They all acknollidge he's here somewhere, or why would the make such a fuss about kicking his.... behind. So in a way, they do believe, and that is enough for me, and probably for Nuffle as well who will get them back of course without them knowing it!
The fact that the NBA members (well some of them) get angry about Nuffle members who by mistake wander in their realms (don't go there, you may not survive) says it all. They fear Nuffle and they should. As you stated Indigo, it would be better if they would join us, as should you. Join and become one with Nuffle!
(Just finished a Gobbo Pbem match (well not entirly yet, but the outcome is clear) and won at the sacrifice of a ball and chain player who had done his bit. Isn't Nuffle wounderous in his ways!)

Playing my first match, not knowing anything about Nuffle I could hardly achieve a draw.
But then I gained wisdom, screamed "Nuffle sucks!" and Won against the same enemy 2:0, injuring half of his team!
And the winning kept on, so that the next two matches were virctories as well, beating up a lot of dwarfes!

So, what does this show to us?
In fact it shows that Nuffle gives a damn about us! He doesn't care if we love or hate him. He is sitting on his throne, made of skulls and blocks with one dot on them, and laughs about us. Neither does he spare somebody, who confesses to him, nor does he punish the non-believers with his anger.
Nuffle is just an arrogant nitpicker, who loves to torment coaches at random for his own abhorrent desire.

So if you got a run on your dices, making no ones and skulls, you are lucky in two ways.
1. Because simply fortune is on your side
2. Because Nuffle doesn't take notice of you in that game!

So the only conclusion is: NUFFLE SUCKS!

You are getting close Lordred, so very close! The second part of course is very true and that is what we have been saying all along.

You acknowledge his existence. He does torment you and he does help you. But at his whim not yours!

Think about the hypocrisy preached by the NBA - they say Nuffle s**ks, yet they still honour Him by playing His game, using His sacred dice, and many have joined His sacred society (NUFFLE Amorical Football...)

Do these weak minded cretinous buffoons wish to rename the NAF to the AF? Poor creatures, my heart bleeds for them...
