Wizard affecting TR?
hi again.
if I start a halfling team and decide to buy a chef, will my TR be 95 or 100 for the winnings table?

I think you start with a TR of 100.
Your treasury goes down with 50.000 but you add 1 wizard to your roster for 50.000. After the match you get id of the Wizard and the TR drops.
Main thing here is, do the hired wizards count towards you TR or not? If not you could be right and start with a TR of 95, cause hiring comes first. Couldn't find that in the rules. Maybe one of the council knows?

Maybe if this is so, we should put work out the handicap top of the list at the pre-match seq. Then there wouldn't be any possible discussion.ianwilliams wrote:TR is only ever calculated at the end of a game (see the post match sequence) so your TR is 100.

hold on to your soup kettles there matey. check bb mag7 on the rules for the chef. last i heard, this (or something like it) is likely to become official in october. basically, you get a (slightly) reduced chef for free as the head coach of your team.

If it's going to be for free, then still there would be no change in the TR would there. Makes no difference. Damn, by typing this answer the soups boiled all over the place. Honey... put the lid on next time will you!slackman wrote:hold on to your soup kettles there matey. check bb mag7 on the rules for the chef. last i heard, this (or something like it) is likely to become official in october. basically, you get a (slightly) reduced chef for free as the head coach of your team.

but the same question would be for the other freebooted wizards, like on a gobbo team or so.slackman wrote:hold on to your soup kettles there matey. check bb mag7 on the rules for the chef. last i heard, this (or something like it) is likely to become official in october. basically, you get a (slightly) reduced chef for free as the head coach of your team.

I must admit me and my mates always took the TR we had a the beginning of the match for all rolls (handicap, winnings and stuff) and then (after winnings) calculated the new TR for the next match.
so... a freeb. mage counts as +5 TR for one match, doesn't he?

No it doesn't. TR is only ever calculated at the end of a game. It never changes at any other time.Toby wrote:The Freebooter wizards Take 50K from your Treasury and add 50K to your Total Cost of Team
Freebooting does not effect TR because the TR is fixed until the game ends.
