And again: Dwarfes
I want to make the Dwarf team lose the Ogre while giving them something new. I know it was discussed often here but I want to give it another well prepared try
I did playtesting with 34129 Block players but that was too powerful combined with guard on other players so I changed my first blockers to these following:
0-2 Dwarf Blocker with
4329 Thick Skull, Dauntless, Multiple Block, GS, 90k seemed to fit the team. At 100k he would be TOO overpriced, imho.
Compared with the Ogreless Dwarf Team the values calculated with PH Team evaluation speadsheet stay exactly the same. Compared to the Dwarfteam with the Ogre you get a weaker team in following aspects:
Blocking (-6)
Running (-0,2)
Potential (-3)
Power (-3)
I also did some playtesting (6 games with the team growing from game to game). 3 Wins, 1 Los and 2 Ties.
The Dwarf Blocker proofed to be strong in offence, smashing down holes into the enemy defence line but dwarfs where to slow to capitalise and the lack of block made them a target for breaking through the defence line.
What do you think?

This is not a good option since Dwarfs dont need any more AG 3 players.
I came up with this because Galak suggested 2 more Trollslayers for the Ogre on the Hotlist to be discussed by the BBRC. And in my Opinion this would take away much flavor for the Norse team and would be a too great disadvantage for the Dwarfes. 4 Players with Frenzy and -1 Av is just too much of a risk for a dwarfteam in my opinion.

The problem is that a St5 big guy has nothing to do on a Dwarf teamlist. Out of my experience a Dwarfteam that has 1 Leader, a ogre with Block and guard (mine had st 6 and pro as well-> I score mostly with him) and 50% of more of the longbeards have guard you cant breake their LOS anymore.
Thats the reason why I am against ANY Big Guy. The deathroller is fun since he gets booted of the field after the first half but a big guy that can improve (and does not explode after getting POWed down) is just TOO strong.
But I guess we will have to house rule it ourselfs.
