I don't particularily like any of those rosters. I would like an outside chance of winning. About the same as a halfling team in fact, actually, I'd like better than halfings, as I should be able to eat them before the match begins.
The line up I would want for a BB team to take to a tournament is at least 6 ogres out of eleven players, with 2 re-rolls.
None of these rosters let me do that. After playing with Ogres since the last bloodbowl I can safely reveal they are awful. You can't stop people running past you, fast teams use you to rack up TD's, you lose 1 in 6 blitzes, you can't guard your goblins. In my experience I need those two rr's to score just one TD, as it seems inevitable that the ogre will go stupid and drop the ball while running.
They are still a laugh though, but less than above and they become simply frustrating, as you can do very little to try and score. I have actually won more games with halflings (under the 3rd ed rules) than the current Ogre team.
They aren't even particularily feared, as guys with block are a nightmare you don't want to block, but then again I won't be dodging away anytime soon. Further, as soon as one goes stupid the enemy can easily disengage.
Ogre #2
0-12 Ogre Blocker 100,000 5 5 2 9
Mighty Blow Thick Skull, Really Stupid GEN, ST
0-4 Ogre Thrower 120,000 5 5 2 9
Mighty Blow Thick Skull, Throw TeamMate, Bonehead GEN, ST
0-4 Goblin 40,000 6 2 3 7 Dodge Right Stuff, Stunty AG
Rerolls: 70,000
Apothecary: Yes
I would frankly have more chance with Halflings that this team, and could indeed beat them with halflings.
Whats the starting roster with them?
4 Goblins
1 RR
5 FF
1 Thrower
6 Blockers
Thats worse than halflings. Now if those Ogres didn't have really stupid, that would be alright. But they do.
Where is the fun with this incredibly stupid team? It feels more like Trolls.

Actually Chris I've playing the Ogre #2 roster for a while now. It definitely better than Flings still. In my 3rd game, I scored 2 TDs in 2 turns. I was tied up with Ogre #2 1-1 until a 6 man pitch invasion took 4 of my Ogres off the pitch at the beginning of the 2nd half leaving me with only 6 players for the entire second half (3 Blockers, 2 Throwers, 1 Goblin) and the game ended with me only losing 3-2 only because I fumbled the TTM pass to score a tying 3rd TD on turn 8 of the 2nd half.
Once the team gets to having 4 Throwers and 4 Goblins, it has one of the best solid line defenses I've seen. Its a 3-4-4 from hell.
And the team should be a joke when it starts, because as the Blockers get Block the team really starts to be able to hurt folks.
And I'll readily say that if you cannot win the team in the Annual, you should play Goblins for a year and then play that team again. I can clean up with the team in the Annual. As it stands, I'm a pretty scary coach with the Ogre #2 roster which is light years worse than the Annual roster.
Galak

Well, I've only played with the 8 goblin and 8 ogre team, and yes I have won with them, but a half decent player just crucifies your goblins and runs past the stupid ogres. Plus, as a straight 100 tr roster for a tourney they are pretty poor (and a 6/5 goblin/ogre split which seems a bit wrong) and I would fear lossing to a halfling team, something I could never live down
To be fair I'd be there for the casualties trophey, and would crave playing lizardmen and similar teams
