Fail bonehead - do you drop the ball?

Post by Chris »

If you fail your bonehead roll and are holding the ball. Do you drop it?

Another nice idea would be random move after failing bonehead (no dodges and no blocks, just moves around the pitch)

or the orge chucks the ball in a random direction and gets back to the serious job of pummeling whoever is nearest- friend or foe. can't see thet one catching on though

Nah - leave it as it is... Playing lizardmen - he had inspired play (special play card) and in a fit of vanity?Cockiness? dodged picked up the ball and went for it with the Kroxigor (playing against a skaven who REALLY couldn't deal with it!)

One of the spectators was baffled - "three turns to go and you give it to a kroxigor!!! - What if he goes bonehead 3 times!!!"

"Ah that will never happen......."

And of course it did. Had bonehead meant dropping the ball, the Lizardmen *might* have been able to pick it up and score.... However holding on to it (trying to eat it? Sticking it up his nose?) meant the Lizzies lost...

"I told you so..." said a rather smug spectator...

Yes, I see your point, but I kinda like the moving in a random movement better, that sound cool.

Oh yeah that would be cool - scatter them 3 times like a pass, ignoring tackle zones - they stop if someone gets in their way because while stupid they aren't very violent...

On a 1,2,3 they would drop the ball, 4,5 keep it, 6 eat it (kick off again hahah)

:D

just an after thought, but I think eating it is a little too harsh, and messy.

Maybe, but kinda fun, and just punishment for you being daft enough to give the ball to a bonehead player

I like the scatter moving though :D
