BloodBowl card game (sorta of)

BB Card game is not exactly a new game but rather an add-on for your regular BB.
Instead of using rosters, kickoff events, pre and post match tables you simply use a deck of cards. Cards represent Players, Fans, Items and various Events that you may find useful to win the game or to cause trouble at will.

Here's the story, more or less...

"you and your oppponent are retired coaches (that's why you don't have regular teams) and you have a grudge because his team had better players than yours and beat you all the times despite your efforts. So you decide to challenge your rival to a game where coaches have to hire and train their players on the spot, no matter what race they are. As the game progresses, more and more people join the crowd to watch this weird weird game and support one of the coaches"

So this is a contest between coaches rather than between teams.

Coaches start with no players, no fans, no money etc NOTHING but the ability to argue the call and a handful of cards. To hire players you must spend the gold you get from playing Fans cards (they increase the income you collect every turn). After hiring a player you may then deploy it on the pitch, from your own endzone. Other cards are used to powerup your team or to generate some good chaos.

Cards have effects similar to the old Deathzone cards just they require a payment in gold crowns in order to be played.

This is good for one-off games because there are no permanent advancements to keep track of.

Will you play with a deck full of cheap Players that come into play early and score while the field is clear or wait until you have enought money to play that big Ogre sitting in your hand since turn 1? Decisions, decisions...
