Official Rules?
Hi there,
i just wanted to know when or on which way all those official experimantal Rules (like the rune smith, necromantic team etc.) and those things from the hotlist (piling on, wild animal changes etc.) can be counted as official rules? Will they find their way into the LRB then? Or do they get official on another way?
Just interested because our league is playing without many houserules for skills and teams. Just following the LRB here.
So, a short answer would be nice.
Thanks.

The rules review will be in October, and the rules will be classified as either "official", stay "experimental" or go to "house rule". Te findings of the BBRC will be published on the GW Bloodbowl site (and probably here about 2-3 minutes later
).
I supose if the change is small enough they'll insert it in the LRB, as they did with MB for Kroxigors, but I don't think a full re-write is on the cards.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

The Rules Review is scheduled for October which means that sometime in December there will be a Rules Review. From October until the actual review everyone will complain about it not happening, after which everyone will be complaining about what happened.

Chick gets hit with acorn ... thinks the sky is falling ... convinces the entire community that the sky is falling and that they are all going to die ... community is so worked up that when the fox says they should go to his house for a planning meeting they agree because rational thought has been overtaken by mass hysteria. Fox eats all them over the course of several days after trapping them in his house.Asperon Thorn wrote:Now, refresh my memory, is that the book with the Chicken?

Morale of the story: Cool minds usually prevail over frantic ones or at least they usually eat better.

As fox eated all them the first one was actually right...

And, in portuguese (I don't know in english - or any other language, for what matters), the upper side inside your mouth is the «mouth's sky»... so she was litterally correct...

I think the difference is Andy has to go & do all the work after the review - updating the LRB. Getting the publications ready etc. They can't just tell what they decided now, can theyAsperon Thorn wrote:The Rules Review is scheduled for October which means that sometime in December there will be a Rules Review.

Actually I think they should tell what they decided right away....
THEN Andy would edit the LRB and all... but taking his time... IMHO this would be nice because people could use the new rules, even if not in LRB.... and with this feedback and time perhaps it would be possible to make the new rules more consistent....

yeah, that sounds like a good idea, but i'd be rather wary of announcing anything before it actually is put in print. but from what i recall of last year, i thought they DID release a "rules review faq" before the LRB was updated. then again, i could be remembering wrong. its almost impossible to remember last year when last weekend is a bit fuzzy already...
