Apothecarie Question

I currently play Skaven and after my 2nd league game I have 80,000 and so I intend to buy an apoth. A quick question, the rules state that at the beggining of the game, the apoth may bring on a player suffering from a niggling injury. Would this also include a player who is missing a match due to a serious injury as I would much like for one to come back on for my next game. If I cant do this then im either down to 9 rats or I buy a new linerat/thrower instead.

No. Apo can help with niggle but not miss.

No only if the player rolled a 1 for a niggle he had.

You can only help a player if it the niggling-roll of 1 would keep the player from participating in the game. The miss next match with which the niggling comes is not part of the deal. The player will have to sit on the bench for a game.
