Undead tournament team, which option to go for?

Post by Chris »

CamCarnage may be the last time my Undead get some excercise. I'm torn between the following line-ups. I only need 2 rr's, and with the mummies soon to dissapear want them in too.
Typical skill choices are Block or piling on for mummies (depends what sort of general opposition I face), sure hands for a Ghoul, then Tackle for a wight, then whatever.

020 2 FF
140 2 RR
200 2 Mummies
270 3 Wights
280 4 Ghouls
090 3 Zombies

030 3 FF
140 2 RR
200 2 Mummies
360 4 Wights
210 3 Ghouls
060 2 Zombies

040 4 FF
140 2 RR
200 2 Mummies
360 4 Wights
140 2 Ghouls
120 4 Zombies

060 6 FF
140 2 RR
200 2 Mummies
270 3 Wights
210 3 Ghouls
120 4 Zombies

Heh, thanks Chris, I might be taking Undead as well, so I can get an idea on what to take.

2 Mummies
2 Wights
3 Ghouls
4 Mix of skele/zombies
4 RR
1 FF

Might as well get a NAF ranking with them while there's still time.

And possible last Hurrah for the Undead..almost certainly the last Hurrah for PO in this form...so..

Skill 1: PO Mummy
Skill 2: PO Mummy
Skill 3: Sure Hands on a Wight as a Ball carrier...

Find room for a DP skellie as a 12th man....

There ya go...

This one is the closest, but I would skip the 4th Zombie and go for 7 FF. Hell, just make zombies dammit!

The reason I go for this one is more Wights and less Ghouls. Ghouls should be used more like a thrower, except don't throw very much- that would be bad.

Less so in a tourney, but normally I would rather get an Apoth then a third one, develop the couple you have but let the Wights punch through the wings and actually score the TDs for you as much as is possible.

ah the old 4 wights vs ghouls

I have played against the 4 wights roster with my 2 wight roster 3 times, won 3-0 won 2-1 (cause of a riot) and drew 0-0 (he got a blitz)

wights are stupidly highly prived and I prefer the mobility of the ghouls and the fragility doesn't matter so much in a tournament

16 Skeletons = 640k
8 FF = 80k
4 Re-rolls = 280k

Whats the problem

I'd be tempted by the 1st one. I think 4 ghoul lineup could work very well in a tourney.

Skills
Mummy PO
Mummy PO
Ghoul SH
Wight Tackle
Wight Strip Ball

Personally, I'll do:

Mummy: PO
Mummy: PO
Mummy: PO
Wight: DP
Wight: DP

8)

Thats largely because of an inability to count however.
