What is the difference between "Outbox" and Sentbox"?

I was looking for new messages and saw that there are these two boxes, which seem to be the same to me, but when I looked at them I found 2 messages in the Outbox, but only one of the 2 in the Sentbox.

Hope somebody can enlighten me with that.

Outbox is for the messages not yet sent to the person they're addressed to (ie they haven't been on TBB since the PM was wriiten). The sentbox is for messges that have been sent to the addressed person.

Don't be fooled!

If you send a message, it will first be put in the outbox. Only when the guy you sent the message to reads it then the message will be found in the sentbox.
