Go For Its while leaping...

Post by Rincewind »

If one of my players, for example with MA 7, moves his 7 squares and then wants to make a leap,

-do I have to roll the two GFI´s before the leap?
-where does the player fall down if he fails the 1st / 2nd GFI?
-can I use Sure Feet allthough his feet are in the air while he makes the GFI´s?

Thanks for any hints...

You roll GFI first and you can use sure feets a susual.
I am not entirely sure where he would land but i believe its in the square he leaped to.

You'll fall over in the square you jumped to. Both a failed GFI and leap lets you fall over in the target square. I guess in this situtation the occupied square you are leaping over can does not qualify for falling over. But I don't know what happens if you leap over an empty square, though. :-?

How would it be different if he wanted to leap with 1 MA left and failed the GFI (or failed at the second GFI - landing to the square he leapt to), and if he had no MA left and failed the first GFI? That was the question.

If you fail something during the leap (i.e. Leap roll or a possible GFI) you fall into the target square, where you were leaping to.
