SPP with failed multiple block

Post by cleminho »

Hi there!

I suppose you get SPP when your opponent tries to block you and fails (get double skull on the dice roll, for ex.) if you manage to have him injured. But what about multiple block? I mean, if your opponent has multiple block and fails his block, is knocked over and you succeed your AV and injury rolls, which one of the two players gets SPP? Do we have to roll a dice to know which one is it? Do they get both 2 SPP for casualty? Do they share the SPP (1 SPP each)?
Thx.

I agree, randomize it, but if both players have Mighty blow, can they not both use it?

But, if it is the other way round and the Multiple Block guy knocks over two people can he use Mighty Blow on both or just 1, and if two casualties are caused does he get two casualties?

I would say they can both benefit from having mighty blow (thus randomize as you said) but in any way they can add +2 on either the AV or injury roll (but can we say that one use it for AV and the other for injury? Well, I do not know so I am actually asking)

I don't know if he can use mighty blow on both. But if two casualties are caused, he obviously get two cas and the SPP, that is the advantage and reason of being of multiple block (apart from just knocking over two people in one block)

I wanted to say: there is no way they can.

If both players blocked have Mighty Blow, then +1 can be added to the armor and to the injury. No injury or armor modifier can have two modifiers added to it though.

and if the blocking player has multiblock and knocks the other 2 over he can use it on both victims av/inj rolls (though piling on you can't)

I think this all shows us that multiple block needs clarification!
This skill brings so many problems and questions that you should think about changing or even deleting it from the LRB.
We need a whole passage in the rulebook only for clarifications for this one skill!
