First game with Undead

Post by JarkkoH »

First game (Undead vs. Skaven)

This was my first game and it was also the first game for my opponent. So we both are complete newbies.

I played with Undead team with:
2 Mummy
2 Wight
2 Ghoul
4 Zombie
2 Skeleton
3 RR
9 FF

I won the game 1-0 and caused 4 casualties. 3 casualties with one Mummy, so he gets Block-skill. Great!

I got 70k cash and bought one more Ghoul. I also got one Zombie more, as one of the rats got killed. So it is now 14 players and looks nice, except I rolled 1 for FF and it came down. Stupid dice :(

Anyhow, was it wise to buy a Ghoul or would it have been better to save for Wight or one more RR. BTW, other teams have FF between 2-5, so not much gate to be expected.

I personally would prolly have waited for another wight. You can't have an apo and ghouls don't have regen (not that it would work on my other players though  )

see that your ghouls get block soon so that they don't get knocked down that often.

ghoul, wight, whatever...

I don't think the order you purchase matters too much, more to your preference of play. I would snag your two wights next, though.

Campaigner is correct, get block on those little ghoul buggers ASAP. Spread the scoring out so one doesn't run away with the SPP.

Good luck and go get 'em!

Block on the Ghouls for sure, but personally I only field 2 of these guys at atime anyway. When cash comes along, a hire a 3rd to develop as a sub. Maybe with offensive or defensive specialties, but usually just a spare part.

You really have to try and get 4 wights on the field and scoring about 50% or more of your goals if possible. If Ghouls are seen as the sole scoring threat on your team, whip out the paints and put a big red bullseye on them.
