Skinks are the ball handlers of the team. Catch or Sure Feet are probably the best options on the first skill. On doubles, Kick is a great skill, but Dirty Player, Block and Sure Hands are also very tempting.

I usually take some with catch and some with side step as first skill.
Sure feet is also a good choice as first skill.

Yep, what they said. :)

I usually prefer to get a couple with Catch first, to make those all important hand-offs that little bit safer. Then Side Step is one of my all time favourite skills. I'm not saying it is the most effective, just the most fun! It tends to have a nice psychological effect on your opponent too - he feels less in control.

As for second skills, Sure Feet is pretty reliable.

On doubles, as tempting as Block, Dirty Player and Kick may seem, I always want to have at least one player with Sure Hands. Its just essential. You all know where I'm coming from on this one!

Have fun, and name one of your skinks Bob!

*stares blankly at the screen* I didn't get that one...

anyway, right:
Catch, Sure Feet and Side Step for normal skills
a few Sure Hands and then Block for doubles
