If you gotta play the sideline game, you gotta be prepared for it and no team is better at it than the Norse imo. (maybe the Darkelfs are on the same level, as witches are faster and get SS without a double) ...
Almost unblockable?? What did I miss? I can knock your blitzer over what is what I want. AV7, right?? I don't really mind you sidestepping behind me unless I am indeed close to the sideline. But then I know what is next and get prepared for it, I would say. There are more blitzers out there who can still blitz me into the crowd, no matter whether that special one has side step or not. My position there is exposed in any way, and I have to deal with frenzy the whole game. If you still want to push me...While Standfirm helps you to dodge and keeps you on the pitch after pushing someone into the crowd, sidestep helps you to set up immediately for the next crowd push (together with jump up) if you get blocked. No way to block-and-not-follow. This makes your blitzer almost unblockable within 2 squares from the sideline without the danger for the blocker to surf the crowd next drive. Also combines great with dodge on a second double and guard on a regular skill.
My idea too,Sputnik wrote:[However, I think dodge helps your blitzer more since you might need to dodge for a blitz (Norse are not that fast) or just for not getting knocked over (jump up only helps if you survive the AV roll) and Stand firm is still better than sidestep because you might want to dodge more often to get into a better position and you won't cause a turnover that way.
