the one situation where I would skip the ST increase would be on the Wee Folk Team Bugger.
He's got ST 1 and can have Double Dauntless on a double (kinda fits :) )

but on a BC... I'd have it anytime.

Thanks for all the feed-back. Couldn't see how opting for a St increase would be male chicken-up but you never know 8)

the only time i'd ever consider not giving a guy +ST would be a right stuff guy who's primary purpose in life was to be thrown.

with +ag, I can think of several common examples where i would take something else. for example, on a mummy, on a black orc, on a chdwarf blocker/longbeard, on a zombie/skeleton, or on a saurus are some great examples.

with +ma, there are even more examples than that, including many of the same ones. also in this case it would sometimes depend on whether it was a double 5 or 6/4 roll. i'd prefer a dauntless witch elf to an ma8 one, for example.

in your example, there's no way you shouldn't take +ST on a bull centaur.

I thought that having another tactical option was a better alternative than having another st4 person to stick in the middle of a cage.

And since I am more used to playing a passing game, it got me out of a lot of scrapes where my cage wasnt quite as well formed as it could have been.

Like I said, I'm not saying everyone would agree with me, but the games I played after giving him pass showed he was more useful with pass than ST4.

This doesn't matter any more. You can TTM S3 players.

Some players suggested to ignore ST+1 on a Dauntless Gutter Runner for Horns. I'd still go ST+1 though.

well sure that could make some sense...because the horns would apply AFTER the dauntless roll whereas the +ST would be before...

that would make some sense, and would be the only case i could see a good argument for. not sure i'd go for it...but i can see the argument at least.... :)

My new St 5 BC rocks. Another TD, more casualties and chalk up a win against Ogres. He also allows the others to improve when your opponent concentrates on him :D 8)

I would be estatic, if I ever rolled a Double, let alone a AG, ST, or a MA...

I rarely roll 10 or above... During the match I do, but not during Leveling up...
Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

I want the "11" result... I even made little signs, that are placed on my Team Banner, that say: "Roll a 11!!" (**I know its suppose to say "Roll an 11!!", but we are talking about un-Educated Football players here...heheheheeeeeee...)
Maybe, the little signs are Jinxing me...

+1 AG on Amazons would make them Elves... especiallly on a Catcher, I WOULD LIKE THAT!!!

OK... how about this one...

I have a Beastman... Horns, Block, Dauntless.
now the obvious choice for a skill is Multiblow...

I'm almost inclided to ignore dubs and give him Multi...
BUT...
what if i get an ST or AG upgrade on him...

Always take strength. It's quite literally never a bad idea. Agility on a beastman is a big deal, because they can dodge out of tackle zones fairly reliably and cause some big problems.

Like Skummy said. Never roll more dice than u have too, extra st makes u need the dauntless less and gives your horns more to work with.

If his sole purpose is to be thrown, i would still give him something else...I mean, i play gobbo's only when i intend to go for the TTM-TD...No use him having ST3...Pro is better in that case, gives him better landing and catching the ball...
