I went for german names for my human team. My favourite is a blitzer, Karl Pfannenshmidt!

I had such a great time the other night, naming most of my undead team after various American wrestlers from the eighties; for example, my two wights are named after Nikolai Kolkoff and the Iron Sheik, and there's also a zombie by the name of Jim "hacksaw" Duggan in there!

I had a wood elf team for a fleeting season. I Hate wood elves, and most of the other AG 4 teams. Poncy gits. The team was called "Tree fish man sword" as an exercise in rediculousness. They were a bunch of performance artists and mimes, and I took great delight in getting them all killed. The names of all the players escape me, but One of them was called Wayne Kerr.

I had a MV 10, Sprint and Sure Feet Skink called Zippy. :D

My long-running Goblin team were blessed (!?) by the presence of Noggin da Troll and Rok da uvver Troll.

My favourite names are those for my human team. All germanic. A blitzer named Karl Lutz was always a favourite. He tended to be a bit of a psycho!

Pretty unimaginative compared to some of the great names in this thread, though!

Urrgok: That's exactly what I'm doing with my Chaos, naming them after wrestlers that is. I'd really appreciate if you could spare some samples from the golden age of WWF, as I have really only found homepages containing the newer characters (and I didn't have cable as a kid so my memory of them is rather dull).
As a side remark, the warriors of course all get Piling On as first skill as befits their body-slamming nature!

Perhaps I can help...a friend of mine had a team called The Hurt Foundation, led by Brat Hurt (based on Bret Hart), followed by Ow-im Hurt (Owen Hart - RIP), and others based on such wrestlers as Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, "Flyin' Brian" Pillman (RIP), etc...

As for other WWF wrestlers of the past, how about such as Tito Santana, Randy "Macho Man" Savage, Rick "The Dragon" Steamboat, Andre the Giant (RIP), Big John Studd (RIP), "Cowboy" Bob Orton Jr, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, Brutus Beefcake, Barry Windham, Mike Rotundo, Dino Bravo (RIP), "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Koko B Ware, "Ravishing" Rick Rude (RIP), Jake "The Snake" Roberts, King Kong Bundy, and need I even mention Hulk Hogan?

Geez, have you noticed how many of these guys have died? Shame... :(

Jake "The Snake" Roberts is already on my team...

And yes, I DID notice how many have died. Makes you wonder why, doesn't it?

The weirdest player names I have given so far are the ones I gave to my beastmen (couldn't come up with any good beastman names, so...)...

Viagra Dragonlover
Prozac Grasslover
Metadol "the Hook" Moonraper
Nitro Deamonthrottler
Insulin Elfmangler
Rennie Headchewer
Morphin Ballkiller
Miranax Painkiller
Burana Eyepoker
Cannabis Toestrangler

It is quite fun to talk about the players :D
We need Prozac! Prozac to rescue! Viagra Dragonlover scores!
