What should I do.....

Post by Nerevar »

Hello guys, I'm still relatively new to the game of Blood Bowl, and I like it so far!

Ok my Ogre is now eligible for for his first skill, I rolled doubles. I was thinking of giving him either Stand Firm or Frenzy, or Block for good measure, aside from that which skill/trait would be the most practicle?

I figured that most of my opponent's lineman can't contest with a Strength 5 Ogre, so seldom would he lose while blocking. I'd like to give him Stand Firm, for obvious reasons. But the thought of Frenzied Ogre would be really cool. But I think I'll probably stick with Block or maybe Guard, idunno?

If someone can help, thanx a bunch

Hi Nerevar,

Glad you like Blood Bowl :D

This question should really be in Tactics & Team Development. There's lots of useful advice there, especially if you use the Search button (top right of the screen). Try something like "Ogre AND skills" in the "Tactics and Team Development" forum. Here's a link that might help you though:

Good luck.

If it's a Gobbo or halfling team then give him Pass...

no, I'm serious... :smoking:

otherwise, stand firm is very annoying... if you are new to BB, stay away from Frenzy for a while.. you often get yourself into more trouble if you aren't very careful...

have fun!

I should get you in touch of Scott. He's in Japan as well. (although I have no idea exactly where... but he plays BB)
