Like extreme says, if the hoof were angled 90 degrees to the pitch.

Here are a few quick work in progress shots of my most recent conversions.

This guy's head started as a skull shaped banner pole decoration. I carved some recesses into the back to hold the greenstuff hair, leaving the raised sections as the straps.

Looking good. I'm looking forward to seeing more, and finally the completed team (no pressure! ).

That thrower looks really great. i don't like the Boar Centaur and kicker too much, though...

Looking cool! And many thanks for the idea. I was wondering what to do with the hoard of Ungor I have left over from converting a regiment of plastic Gors and Giant Wolves into Centigors for warhammer. Guess it'll be BloodBowl for them then! (...normal Human stats?)
Just one tip. If you use plastic dwarf arms, use the Great Weapon hands as much as possible. The hands with hand weapons have a kootje to much in their thumb, making them look like small tentacles (a kootje is a bone in the finger, don't know the english word  )...
Torg wrote:a dwarf torso would fit nicely on a boar's body, but a dwarf torso on a bull's body doesn't really sound like the scale would work
Haven't you ever noticed that a Bull Centaur's upper body is almost twice as big as a normal Chaos Dwarf's upper body?

That's the point I was trying to make. To get the dwarves to fit on the bull bodies, they had to make the torsos bigger than a whole dwarf! That's why I said I like the idea of the boar centaur, the scale works better.

I ordered online, and didn't bother getting the great weapon sprue as I didn't think it would be useful.

Here's the masked chaos dwarf, finished but for the base and varnishing. I've inset some other views of his head. It's a 50% quality JPG by the way.

Great. How about adding just a hint of intelligence in the eyes behind that mask? A sparkle or something. I know that on the pitch it doesn't matter but you did such a nice job on him, people are going to pick him up and study him. Make him look back at them. I'd think that just a dot of varnish should do the trick.

That looks great! What did you use for the mask? Is it a skull cut in half and fused with a dwarf head? Or is it another bit?
