True. Very true. I've had my share of games with less than 3 players a side (both my own and opponent's side) and always the "bashed-up" side was trailing when the situation got out of hand.
I guess that the penalty for conceding was introduced to stop cheesy rules lawyers to arrange a game, kick off, then concede, gather money and a MVP, then start again. But when you play against a mate and his (or your) team is reduced to five or less fielding against nine or more, just shake hands and call it a day. I totally agree to the impression that this is a superfluous rule that will never give an "unfair" benefit to a winnig team anyway.
