hehe...do you do commissioned conversion work? I have some painting skill, yeah...but damn...I couldn't convert my way out of a wet paper bag. Very nice...again! Worth the wait to see

Great. How about adding just a hint of intelligence in the eyes behind that mask? A sparkle or something. I know that on the pitch it doesn't matter but you did such a nice job on him, people are going to pick him up and study him. Make him look back at them. I'd think that just a dot of varnish should do the trick.
It'd have to be gloss varnish I suppose, but I don't have any. Perhaps a little red dot?
That looks great! What did you use for the mask? Is it a skull cut in half and fused with a dwarf head? Or is it another bit?
The mask is just a skull, with the hair added onto the back with greenstuff. I posted a work in progress photo somewhere on page 2 that shows how it looked before painting.

I've uploaded five more to my webspace that aren't posted here, including a couple of prototype dwarves that I rejected.

I've painted the thrower now.

I've also put the second centaur up on my webspace.

You might remember a halfling with a pink chainsaw which I posted a while back; well I've stripped that, cut off some of the detail, and am now working on sculpting on a breastplate and chainmail to match the other dwarves. Chances of it being a complete success are minimal, but it ought to be a unique model at least.

Here are some more work in progress minis.

Full size, front (80k)
Full size, back (80k)

They're actually pretty much finished, apart from the blunderbus and the arm holding it.

They need shoulder pads to look a little more BBish.
Looking good so far (similar to the ones I did, but looks like you did a little more conversion work than me).

Very impressive. If I make a Chaos Dwarf team, I may borrow a few ideas. I was never a fan of the 'big hat squad', just never liked the look of them. This may encourage me to to look into them.

Wow as much as I hate chaos dwarves I sure do like these. That "Skull Hockey Mask" has to be one of the best conversions I've ever seen. And your pictures bring out alot of detail. Exceptional team.

Here's a Heresy feral priestess queen, which I've employed as a cheerleader. I removed her halberd thing and replaced it with a severed head, which I painted green for some reason. I've actually based this one, so tell me what you think of that.
