It'd have to be gloss varnish I suppose, but I don't have any. Perhaps a little red dot?Great. How about adding just a hint of intelligence in the eyes behind that mask? A sparkle or something. I know that on the pitch it doesn't matter but you did such a nice job on him, people are going to pick him up and study him. Make him look back at them. I'd think that just a dot of varnish should do the trick.
The mask is just a skull, with the hair added onto the back with greenstuff. I posted a work in progress photo somewhere on page 2 that shows how it looked before painting. That looks great! What did you use for the mask? Is it a skull cut in half and fused with a dwarf head? Or is it another bit?
I've uploaded five more to my webspace that aren't posted here, including a couple of prototype dwarves that I rejected.

I've painted the thrower now.

I've also put the second centaur up on my webspace.
You might remember a halfling with a pink chainsaw which I posted a while back; well I've stripped that, cut off some of the detail, and am now working on sculpting on a breastplate and chainmail to match the other dwarves. Chances of it being a complete success are minimal, but it ought to be a unique model at least.

Here are some more work in progress minis.

Full size, front (80k)
Full size, back (80k)
They're actually pretty much finished, apart from the blunderbus and the arm holding it.

Here's a Heresy feral priestess queen, which I've employed as a cheerleader. I removed her halberd thing and replaced it with a severed head, which I painted green for some reason. I've actually based this one, so tell me what you think of that.
