New team - swamp things

Post by duff »

The swamp things are a "swing wing" team. They are hexapedal, able to stand on just their hind legs, in centar stance or on all sixes. They all have sticky pads on their fingers and gliding membranes and live a lot in an everglad-y swamp. The default stance is centaur stance with biped indicated by one of the yellow numbers under the base and six's indicated by a reroll counter.
Players may change stance at the start of their movement only.

Biped stance 3 2 4 7 Sure hands, tackle, extra arms.
Centaur 5 3 4 7 Sure hands, sure feet
six's 7 3 4 7 Sure feet, stand firm, leap.
Can't handle the ball, block/blitz or use strength skills except stand firm and break tackle.

cost 80K?, skills gen and ag. They could also have foul apperance and be frgile the way stunties are.

It would be a fiddle to track the forms but the way the team plays would be quite unusual. I'm visualising a number of hexepods leaping and racing into a reciving position, then standing up to take the catch.

I can hear the music now:

"Swamp Thing . . . . .
You make the field stink
You make everything . . muddy
Swamp thing..."

Lose the tackle on the biped...
this is to be learnt, not already knowen.

I'll run some numbers and maybe come up with a price for a trial run...

I seem to remember there were three casts to this race, perhaps we could have the (6) Warriers have Gen/St, the (6) Scolars have gen/Ag and the (6) Workers have Gen/pass or something like that...
I'll think more...
