A new and different Human-Team
So.. I have been thinking about his quite a long time and while so much other try to create a Brettonian team have failed, I just want to present my teams as... lets say PRO HUMANS. The can be called as you like, so don´t flame about position/team-names.
Basically I wanted a team that is different, but not superior to others. I though about a team, that has quite a problem to score, but is a defense-specialist. Basically I transformed the catchers and the throwers into different positions, leaving the team with 10 possible position-player. As I upgraded 2 of the blitzers, I removed the ogre from the Cockerel, to place the team more on the weaker side.
Blitzers:
90k 0-2 7 3 3 8 Block, Strip Ball G, S or A (not sure)
Basically a Human-Blitzer with additional SB for extra 10k.
Offense Specialist:
80k 0-2 6 3 3 9 Guard G, S
A Blitzer with Guard instead of block and one extra Armor traded against one MA.
Defense Specialist:
90k 0-2 6 3 3 9 Jump Up G, A
Simply something new. Replacing the thrower. Jump Up is considered as quite a weak trait, but it´s a great one with some armor. Possibly drop one AV or no AG-access and lower price to 80k.
Guard:
80k 0-2 7 3 3 8 Shadowing G, A
Maybe he should even be 8337 to bring up his speed.
Sideline-Guard
90k 0-2 6 3 3 8 SideStep, Tackle G, A
Trained to mark possible recievers.
Lineman:
50k 0-16 6 3 3 8 G
Apo: Yes
RR: 60k
With the need for a running-game, but without the Cageing-Power, scoring should be not soo easy for this team. Especially with no Passing at all and with some linos needed to to the ball-handling. On the otherhand this team will see more ST3-blodger and is a pain on defense, with some nasty specialist after only a few skills.

On the other hand it poses no real threat itself. No real passing-ability, not too good in cage-game. And at the start you maybe have one specialist each.
Maybe the Sideline-Guard could be replaced with a passblocker...

in my opinion, that players are to good. I create two new positions to my humnas, in order to use Griff and Zug as a normal players:
Human runner (Griff): 8/3/3/8 block, dodge Gen, AG 110k
Human Blocker(Zug): 4/4/2/9 none gen, st 80k
they fit perfect in our human team, wich improves a bit. tha team only can have one each.

I don´t see any problem, with those players.. they are not too strong. Maybe there is too much choice, so maybe drop the passblocker/sidelineguard?

The point is they are a defense team. To realise how this makes the team possibly too good, think about the following:
Team 1 scores every time they receive the ball, but never when they kick
Team 2 scores every time they kick, but never when they receive.
Now, when you add in the fact that
A) Every time you score, you kick
you will realise why the team capable of strong defence is usually triumphant.
Your team is far too good, IMO.

Now, as suggestions to where to take this team:
Combine Blizers and Offensive specialists - best option would be to forget the Offensives alltogether and drop Strip Ball from the blitzers. Allow four of them.
Combine Defensives and Guards and allow two of them.

Well.. the team doesn´t automatically score, when they kick. It´s one thing to prevent the oposition from scoring, but it´s another thing to score by yourself.
With below-avarage caging capabilities, and no ball-handling-skills it will be pretty tough to score, even against the opposing "offense-setup".
So if 3 positions are needed:

Now I think these are mad crazy over powered. 2 Skills for each position?!?!??!
Blitzer: is ok as it is very much like the elf blitzer with -1 ag and 10K less, however to keep them in line with this I would remove access to strength.
DB: I would go with shadowing only, but check price vs similars. Ghoul is 70K so I would go 70 K
Guard: Again Jump on a "line type" character gives you lots of extra blocks a game and I would say it is unbalancing. May be make them a bit more clumsy by making them AG2, they should not be able to dodge or ball handle well at this point they would be roughly equivalent to a Black Orc or Saurus so 80k. These guys should get access to strength.

Check the original Cockerel... The Problem there was the amount of different positions.
So what about the original Cockerel, which had no BigGuy. If the number of positions are a problem, I would drop the Sideline-Guards and increase the number of shadowing-players
