I'm with Galak on this.
Trying to mix 2 tables together is like adding sugar to beer. This sounds very much like the "ejected on a double" rule in 3E which I believe most people wanted out.
If you roll a double why should you age? This means that players with traits are going to retire quickly.
Skill rolls and ageing are different. There is no need to bring them together. It hardly saves any time. Why make a change when none is needed. I have agreed (in an earlier post) that if it was felt that there should be more traits in the game, then I'm happy to play-test a trait on a skill roll of 7 or a 9 or whatever........ but.... let's not try to simplify things too much by adding separate rolls together.

PS I can see that the next prospective table published is going to be a combined armour and injury table
Roll a triple player dies....... etc etc
PPS The next table will be one where you roll 58 dice and look up the match result on a ginormous table and update your roster and SPPs with a 3-1 win with a 4-2 casualty score......

(sorry about this last one but I couldn't resist!)... hang on.... if we make it a 62 dice table we could add the ageing effects into the roll too!
