Newbie greeting you all...
Hi!
I'm "newbie" from Finland and haven't played Blood Bowl since late 80's. So I see that there have been some changes in the game... I just downloaded latest version of the rulebook and it looks quite exciting.
I've got the 2nd edition game, so I guess I don't have to buy new BB box?

Hi Javu.
Late 80's? Second edition days? Ho hum...
Expect a much faster and more dynamic game now.
Use an old set? Well, the end zones are only one square deep now, and the pitch has slightly larger squares. I guess you could use the old dug-out at a pinch (you don't need the stunned box), and use the score track as a turn track. You'd still need to improvise a re-roll track and counters...aah treat yourself to a new set!

Hello!
I'm new to this board to (well, been here for a few weeks). Its a good forum, with many knowledgeable players. If you havn't played the 3:rd edition, you will see many changes. The game is a lot faster, and in my opinion also much better. There is also lots of online play in form of PBEM, check that forum. I havn't tested that at all, but I'm curious to try.
I'm from Södertälje, Sweden but both my parents are born in Finland.

In addition to PBeM, you can play 'live' online using Javabowl, written by SkiJunkie:

There is also a league beginning which will use it to play all the games:
