Mighty Blow. Leap into a cage and flatten a ball carrier.

Or Dauntless, I can't believe nobody mentioned that one. Very good for a blitzer, extremely good for a leaping one.

Guard or Mighty Blow, for any of the reasons above.

I'd be willing to consider Dauntless also. If the league is known to include several ST>3 ballhandlers. If it doesn't, the Dauntless is a bit of a waste for a AG5 player, as he's destined to get leap and unless there's anyone to dauntless on the other side, the doubles is not used to full effect.

My witch has dauntless

Also another reason I didn't take Guard is that I have no intention of getting the AG5 blitzer in too many fights - ie leaving him next to attackers.

Here's the team (Lustrian Legue)

Looks like you settled on leap, and its too late to quote the "one's a Target, two is . . ." Maxim. Oh well.

I personnally dislike having dauntless on my witches.

Witches are always targets irrespective

The Blodge, MB, Guard blitzer may be a target but he he has higher av and except where tackle is concerned can look after himself.

Putting Guard on the Ag 5 blitzer instead of leap would not make him less of a target IMO.

Accurate or Pass. I'd now use him as a ball carrier, with the option of making a pass for the TD or breaking out of a cage to run it home;-)

Not keen on accurate or pass - that said he is already a ball carrier. I did have an ag 5 lino who died last game (damn apoth!) who had circa 10 completions.

I just feel that he can do more damage to the oppo (TDs, ball retrieval etc) higher up the pitch than staying back as a thrower.

I would probably take guard, although I also have an AG 5 DE and I tend to use him a defensive cover guy with shadowing, pass block and diving tackle
