Yep.. listen to his words... with 2 time NoS and Dump off, it will be very hard to get your offense down... but on the other hand, you need to buff your defense... so guard´s lookin good.
EDIT:
Wait.. while I think about it, dauntless would be the way I would go. A really mobile BigGuy-Knocker.. nothing to spit on... next double would be multiblock :D

I was going to go the 'take the mv' line but yes DUMPOFF!!

you'll have one guy with NoS and Dumpoff and one with Nos catch and leap...
run them side by side to the endzone, and there is almost no way they can stop you baring wizards.

If they blitz your Dumpoff guy then two 2+ rolls (one with auto reroll) and then the other guy has the ball... with leap he may not even have to dodge, so it'd be a 3+ roll or at werst a 3+ and a 2+ and you've scored dispite them blitzing the ball carrier, and surrounding you in TZ's.

I'd take the MA+... after all, he's your running type player.

To me the dump-off options seems the most attractive. Most often I'll have it on a thrower who for some reason is never quite far enough upfield to really get to use it... I know, I know, I need to play more agressively.

But seriously. You'll probably end up with another catcher on this team sooner or later, which means three blokes to chuck the ball at when this fella get's the ball from one of your throwers.

Go with Dump Off. Dear lord, imagine if all four of your catchers had dump off? Just walk downfield. You get blitzed, toss it to somebody else. And as it has been pointed out, this combos nicely with NoS, especially since you can pass it to a different NoS catcher. If you need to get rid of it (say, your new ballcarrier gets surrounded), you can toss it out of there during your turn, because he's got NoS too.

Two or three dump off catchers on your elf team would be more than good, it would be abusive. One dump off catcher just means he's going to get hit a lot, so save your 'poth.

Speed is good, but unless you think you can develop him into a OTS (2 +MA and sprint would do it), dump off is better. Way better.

I've been playing pro elves this season, have six games now, and the catchers are awesome. I played a chaos team, and in the first half kicked off twice and managed to take the ball away and score once, the second time I took the ball away, tossed it to my catcher who got it while standing in TZs (yay NoS!), and the only thing that kept me from scoring again was my oppos tentacles.

Your catchers will become abusive. Dodge, leap, dump off, +AG (for leaping and fancy dodging), sure feet, sprint. Starting with a good trait (NoS) means you have all sorts of options.

Went for Frenzy in the end. Dump Off or the Mv might have been wiser, but as an Old-time Dwarf coach, I just can't resist the temptations of a Mv8 Frenzier...

I hope it works out :D

Take the MA!

He becomes an even greater threat for opposing Throwers after your kick-off and can block/reach them easier.
