Skill or +MA for Zombie

Post by JarkkoH »

I just rolled 4+6 for a Zombie. It is his first skill, and I think I probably forget the +MA and take Dirty Player or Block. I have only one other lineman with a skill (Kick), but most of my positional players have Block and other skills.

There is no Dirty Player in my team yet (as he died in the first drive after his development), so I think it would be time to get one.

What would you guys take? Oh, and the team is Undead with team rating 188. Skills and players:
Mummy: Block
Mummy

Wight: Block, Tackle
Wight: Block, Tackle, Strip Ball
Wight: Block, Guard
Wight: Block

Ghoul: Block, Dodge, Side Step, +MA
Ghoul: Block, Dodge, Side Step, +AG
Ghoul: Block, Dodge
Ghoul: Dodge

3 Zombies
Zombie: Kick

Skeleton

Since you have got 4 ghouls and 4 wights I'd say there's no need to give the zombie MA. he should be used to tie up some opponents and sometimes throw blocks, but with his AG of 2 he won't get around a lot.

So, I'd take a skill, dunno if Block or DP (I don't foul that often, so maybe I'd take Block, but it's only a Zombie, so he may be predestined for fouls)

If you need lineman with MA5 , go for a skeleton. A zombie with MA5 is not that useful, especially since he will need ages to get a second skill (if ever).

block might really be more helpful. And dirty player is best spent on a skeleton due to the MA of 5. Since both, the Zombie and the skelly, won't dodge that often for a foul it is better to have a skelly lurking behind the line to get that boot in.

Nice ghouls, by the way.

I won some impressive titles in 198X, some more in 199X, even more impressive titles in 200X, some of them REALLY impressive, and a few even MORE impressive! Not to mention a lot of less impressive ones.

Take block or DP - don't take the movement.
