grotemuis wrote:the good thing about frenzy is, if there is a cage, jump him in and blitz him out of the cage. added bonus, if the ballcarrier hasn't got sure hands, you can always elect not to use the skill on the first block, but on the second, with the ball carrier dropping the ball away from the cage. Easy for one of your other players to pick it up and score.

JU or Frenzy ... both are strong choices. I'd pick Frenzy though ...
a, Pushouts: WE will never outbash their opponents, but being able to remove a players by pushing him of the pitch will open big gaps in the defence. Pushing the ball carrier into the crowd also is a great benefit for the WE, as their faster players will be able to capitalize on the crowd throw-in. Together with MA8, 3+ leap and STR4 there will be NO safe place for anyone on the pitch within 2 squares of the sideline.
b, Setup and Strategy: Good thing about Frenzy is that this skill also works when not used ... huh? Well if you have Frenzy, the opponent will have to avoid running down the sidelines. He can't set up players (at least none without SF or SS) within pushout range, so the sidelines will be open for your catchers to sneak through.

To be honest, the more I listen, the more appealing frenzy becomes. I'm close to changing my vote from jump up to frenzy. I really didn't account enough for that +ST.
Really tricky. I guess, the best solution to this is to throw a coin!
The big downside to frenzy on a WarDancer is that he must always follow up - this reduces his flexibility and can leave you in positions where you really want to dodge, but the odds aren't in your favour.
Thank you very much for the inspiring discussion, which at last narrowed down to Frenzy vs. Pro. But given the weight of your arguments, I will select Frenzy. It also includes a greater challenge for me as a coach.
Thanks again, if anyone is interested I might post some experience now and then to this thread.
