Does anybody here have this werewolf mini, and if so, did you put it together yourself? (The howling on the top row)
The reason I ask is that the head has a long rectangular pin on it, were it should be attached to the body. Since the surface of the head is concave, and the pin is quite thick, I am wondering how to get this fixed.
Any ideas/suggestions?

Can you just use a pin vice with a bit larger than the pin and a fair amount of glue? Without actually holding it it's hard to know for sure

Just file or clip the current pin away (maybe it's just a leftover bit from casting?) and then get a pin vise/power drill and a paper clip for a new neck pin. PRESTO ! ! ! Instant New Spine!!!

Well, I have got it, but didn't put it together myself.
I know this doesn't help much, but there you go.
Oh, and it looks pretty cool with a couple of the old space marine shoulderpads glued on, they fit nicely too. (Again, I didn't do this myself, a friend of mine blu-tacked them on).
Well, that's enough of being useless for one day, maybe I should go reply to a topic where I can actually answer the question properly.....

It isn't available on the internet shops, no, but if you take the code from the solegends link I posted and give GW a ring, you can order it.
The pin is rectangular and quite strong too, at least a mm thick and several mm wide. Also, the surface (head-body contact) is not flat, is it concave (concave is hollow, right?) making it impossible to file the pin of.
No new ideas?

Hmmm... well that's a bit@h. Can you get a pic of it up? I'm a firm believer that almost anything can be snipped off, but if removing the offender truly isn't a viable option then maybe making room for it & drilling out a suitable resting area is the only alternative. And last but by no means least... there's always the Greenstuff turtleneck approach. Use it as a buffer to fit the 2 together and then maybe build it up into a mane?Redfang wrote:The pin is rectangular and quite strong too, at least a mm thick and several mm wide. I solved it last week. I suddenly remembered I was working at a Lab were they make their own instruments for measurements under extreme pressure and temperature conditions. They had some nice electric instrument here; pin was off in no time...
Thanks all

Are those still available? Anyone know the part number? I couldn't find them online. But I already like the sound of them.Azurus wrote:Oh, and it looks pretty cool with a couple of the old space marine shoulderpads glued on, they fit nicely too.
